Tourist Attractions

Colonial Heights has two major attractions: the Violet Bank and the Swift Creek Mill. The Violet Bank is listed in the National Register of Historic Places as a historic house museum. The structure is a standing example of American Interior Decorative Arts and Federal architecture. The Swift Creek Mill which dates back to the 17^th century is considered as America’s oldest grist mill. Today it is now a dinner theater that serves candlelit dinners and excellent performances.
